A chapter comes to an end

It is with great regret that we must inform you that FOOD HERO will close its doors at Binningerstrasse 15 in Basel on 29.04.2026.

After nearly five intense and wonderful years, this chapter is coming to an end, not by choice but because the lease will not be renewed by the landlord. The existing infrastructure, especially the ventilation system, would require major renovation, and due to the associated costs, it was decided not to proceed.

FOOD HERO was much more than just a restaurant, it was a place of creativity, experimentation and a unique food concept in Basel, bringing together multiple brands and cuisines under one roof.

Since its creation, our goal has always been to offer a different experience: generous, creative food, available for delivery, takeaway or to enjoy on-site.

Although this location is closing, our vision and projects continue.
